Privacy Policy

This is an informal English translation provided for convenience. Only the German version of this document is legally binding.

We do not use cookies or any tracking or analytics services ourselves. On the homepage we offer embedded YouTube videos; a connection to Google's servers is only established once you explicitly consent or actively load an individual video (see the "Product Videos" section for details). Otherwise, only the data described below is processed when you visit this website.

Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by Hosttech. When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical access data in what are known as server log files, which your browser transmits. These include in particular:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • URL accessed
  • HTTP status code
  • Referrer URL, if transmitted
  • Browser and operating system used (user agent)

This data is used for the technical provision and security of the website and is not combined with other data sources. The server log files are automatically deleted by the hosting provider once they are no longer required for the technical provision, security and stability of the website. The exact retention period depends on the hosting provider's specifications.

Getting in Touch

If you contact us by phone or email, the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the enquiry) is processed and stored for the purpose of handling your enquiry for as long as this is necessary to respond and deal with any follow-up questions.

Contact Form

The contact form on our contact page is technically processed via the external provider Ablionis (app.ablionis.com). Simply visiting the page does not transmit any data to Ablionis. Only once you fill in the form and actively click "Send message" is the data you entered (name, email address, message) transmitted to Ablionis via a secure connection. Ablionis then forwards your enquiry to us and redirects you to our own confirmation page (danke.html). This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / handling of your enquiry). Your data is used exclusively to handle your enquiry and is not passed on to any further third parties. More information: Ablionis Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

To protect against automated spam, the form contains an additional field that is not visible to humans (honeypot). This field is used exclusively for spam detection and is not evaluated if it remains empty.

Download Area

The download area of this website contains PDF catalogues that are served directly from our own server. No data is transmitted to third parties when downloading.

Product Videos (YouTube)

On the homepage we offer four product videos via YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in the so-called "privacy-enhanced mode" (domain youtube-nocookie.com). Simply visiting the page establishes no connection to YouTube/Google. Only once you select "Accept" in the notice banner shown, or click "Load video" for an individual video, is the respective video embedded and a connection to YouTube/Google's servers established (e.g. transmission of your IP address, browser and device information). If you subsequently play a video, YouTube also processes data about your usage behaviour and may set cookies; this processing may also take place in the USA.

We store your choice ("Accept" or "Decline") locally in your browser (local storage) so that you are not asked again on your next visit. This storage does not leave your device and serves solely to remember your decision.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time for the future by deleting the corresponding browser data for this website. More information on data processing by Google/YouTube can be found in Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

Directions (Google Maps)

On the contact page we link to Google Maps to provide you with directions. This is a normal external link – no map is automatically embedded and no data is transmitted to Google before you actively click the link.

Cookies and Storage Technologies

We ourselves do not use cookies. Only your choice in the YouTube notice banner (Accept/Decline) is stored, on a technically necessary basis, in your browser's local storage so that you are not asked again on every visit (see the "Product Videos" section). We do not use any other storage technologies of our own. If you consent to a YouTube video and play it, YouTube may additionally set its own cookies on your device – this is beyond our control.

Tracking and Analytics

No analytics, tracking or advertising services are used.

Fonts

This website uses the "Titillium Web" font, which is hosted locally on our own server. No fonts are loaded from external providers (e.g. Google Fonts).

Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have, among others, the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
